Electronics Management (SAE/GFR, 1-2 students needed
Manage and maintain all GFR PCBs for competition rules compliance. GFR has 10+ custom PCB
designs for tasks such as power distribution, sensor data acquisition, and battery management. PCBs
must be designed for both 12/48V LV systems as well as 600V HV systems for our battery inverter and
motors. Students will be responsible for updating these PCBs to follow the new rulesets, as well as
procuring fully assembled PCBs (sourcing of bare PCB, components, and assembly process).
Objectives
● Maintain PCB interfaces for wiring team
● Update PCB designs for rules compliance
● Acquire sponsorships for PCB + PCB assembly
● Source enough assembled PCBs for a full car + spares
Motivations
One or two students interested in PCB design are needed.
