Cloud-Based Algorithmic Trading Strategies for Individual Investors.
In this project you will learn investment and algorithmic trading basics from one of the founders of Levrum Data Technologies. You will use this knowledge to design, implement, and test a cloud-based stock market trading application. The application will support importing stock data, creating and optimizing trading strategies, and selecting the best performing strategies. The selected strategies will be deployed as trading bots for the purpose of automated trading. This project will use artifacts from multiple previous Capstone groups as well as baseline high-performance trading algorithms provided by the project sponsor.
Objectives
This project objective is to architect, implement and test a cloud-based trading application. The application will include a UI for controlling the trading strategy creation process and displaying trade recommendations and performance metrics. It will include a database for storing stock market data, processed data, trading strategy results, and other information. The application will also connect to a brokerage account for the purpose of automated trading. The deliverable will be the complete application, testing results, and the standard development artifacts and documentation.
