AI-Powered Customizable Multivendor E-commerce Platform

We are a group of OSU graduates in CS/ECE who have completed the engineering capstone and are leveraging our experience to develop an AI-powered, customizable multivendor e-commerce platform. This platform transforms online shopping by integrating generative AI to offer personalized product recommendations and dynamic pricing models. Offering greater customization than existing e-commerce platforms, our solution enables vendors to tailor their pricing models and sales strategies to their unique needs and preferences. Our user-friendly marketplace will allow vendors to tailor their pricing strategies while providing customers with a seamless, intuitive shopping experience. The platform's sleek design and intelligent features ensure efficiency and adaptability. Our project will provide tailored solutions that empower vendors to sell their products easily and flexibly. Work with a team that has been through the capstone before and meet with us regularly to meaningfully contribute to developing a production-grade e-commerce solution. Objectives


Meaningfully contribute to the deployment of a production-grade E-commerce web application by

  • Developing custom pricing logic for various product and service categories
  • Developing responsive web interfaces
  • Developing plugins for existing e-commerce solutions such as nopCommerce
  • Utilizing generative AI to 
    • Accept various forms of pricing models
    • Produce product recommendation systems
  • Integrating a payment processing and shipping solution
  • Researching existing e-commerce solutions

Motivations


The motivation behind our project is to address the limitations of existing e-commerce solutions by empowering vendors with customized pricing strategies and personalized recommendations, ultimately enhancing their sales performance. At the same time, this project will elevate the consumer experience by providing tailored product suggestions and a seamless, intuitive shopping experience.
