Objectives

Features:

  • Create a profile with various items like your instrument, experience level, preferred genre/styles, etc. 
  • Create posts detailing what you are looking for and allow users to post their own personal ads 
  • Enable users to upload audio and/or video samples of their music
  • Create a review system allowing other users to drop comments Allow search functionality so users can filter by an acceptable radius, instrument, skill level, etc. 

Stretch goals (choose from this list based on available time):

  • Deploy to both web and mobile 
  • Allow users to set their preferred availability for session times (time of day, day of the week) 
  • Create a messaging system between users so that they can communicate with one another directly 
  • Allow users to share a youtube / spotify playlist of their work and/or the songs they'd like to cover 
  • Allow users to toggle notification settings to be alerted when there is activity on their post or posts they are following

Motivations

The goal of this project is to create a social media app for musicians and artists to find other people to collaborate with.
