Real Estate CRM
This project will involve 2 major aspects. The building of a server to house the CRM on, and the development of the CRM. A CRM is a Customer Relationship Management Software. The one we will be building is similar to many Real Estate CRM's that exist but will have special information/fields that are not offered by those CRM's. We will start with building the server and setting up the server to allow us to write and run the CRM on it. Once the server is built we will spend time designing the CRM and then the remainder of the year will be dedicated to the development & testing of the CRM.
Objectives
Our deliverables for this project would be a server that works and a working webpage or program that would be the CRM.
Motivations
I have a friend who works in Real Estate and complains about certain things he would like his current CRM to do. I then had the opportunity to build a draft version of the CRM for my database class and enjoyed the process of creating it and the feeling of success at seeing elements of the CRM work.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Has at least 3 classes of programming experience in any language
- Knows the basics of Node.js and SQL
- Has had 2 or more years of programming experience in any language
- Has completed CS 340 with a B or higher
- Is comfortable with Node.js and/or SQL
