Student Experience Story Archive Project (SESAP) Website Data Integration & AI Analyses

This project will take an existing website and handoff materials from the previous CS student developer along with additional data files to create a sustainable process for integrating and analyzing interviews and auto-generated transcripts into a data management and visualization output platform. Word clouds, charts, search functionality and other outputs will be presented to EECS faculty and researchers more broadly in order to disseminate results of the EECS Student Experience Story Archive Project (SESAP).

Objectives

A website with functional search tool and visualizations that can be auto-generated as new interviews are added to the system along with a sustainable process for non-CS administrators to manage and add to the data archive repository.

Motivations

Create a sustainable platform for managing, analyzing, and presenting data about underserved and marginalized students' experiences in the EECS program in order to make an impact and create change based on recommendations that come from the data about how to support and empower these students and their communities.
