Integrated Environmental Sensor for Thai Agriculture Application
This integrated environmental sensor array is intended to be used to gather data on biodynamic and organic farming in Thailand. Collecting this information on these practices is critical for learning the environmental impacts of these farming practices.
Objectives
Deliverable is an integrated sensor box that can be delivered to the project sponsor.
Motivations
This project is one of many that Raitong Organics Farm would like to implement as they seek to become completely transparent to their customers and promote sustainable farming practices in the area. A network of data capturing devices at the farm would enable it to become safer, more efficient, and produce higher quality product. It would also enable our partners to quantify impacts of their organic practices on the soil and crops, providing information that can be used to encourage other farmers in the area to adopt similar organic practices.
