Engineering 103 Final Project

This project had me using an Arduino nano board and sensors to take measurements of my choice for at least 24 hours. Using a sonar sensor I hooked my computer and Arduino up in a spot right outside my door and pointed the sensor at my door. From here once the program was running it would count each time the door was opened by watching to see when the distance the sensor tracked was below the normal distance the sensor tracked the door to be from itself. After running my project I was able to also input a key command 'a', which allowed me to see how many seconds and times my door was opened within a 10 minute interval, at the end having 144 intervals. This gave me two different data sets at the end of the project. One which allowed me to see the amount of times my door was opened in total, one that split that time into 10 minute intervals, and one measurement that just gave me the total number of seconds my door was opened.
