FM Transmitter ECE342-Sp20

A simple FM transmitter that takes in audio through an audio jack, amplifies and oscillates the signal, and outputs it through the FM radio range. With some modifications, this project could be used as a communication device, a baby monitor, etc. Essentially, the audio produces a sine wave and is transmitted by altering the frequency signals to match a carrier wave. It then goes through an amplifier and an oscillator. The signal can then be picked up by a radio. The project itself was quite interesting. I learned a lot about how amplifiers and oscillators worked. Working on this project, there were many times where I got frustrated, but it taught me to be a better engineer. It taught me that a lot of trial and error has to take place before coming up with the final product. There were some challenges like not being able to get physical help and debugging the circuit. In terms of improvements, I would want to do more testing to try and improve the quality of the signal.
