Brandon Stair ENGR103 Final Project

For my project, I am measuring the temperature of my Graphics Card using a thermistor and an Arduino. I am trying to see if my GPU stays within a safe temperature below 180 degrees Fahrenheit during my usual usage. I attached it to the back of my GPU using duck tape like any good engineer, and measured in 10 minute intervals over the course of 24 hours. I measured in Fahrenheit and sent reports back to my laptop using the Serial. You can see a resting rate when my computer is off, hovering around 63 - 64 degrees Fahrenheit. Whenever my computer is on, but I am not gaming, it sits around 67 degrees Fahrenheit. Finally, when I am gaming, the GPU hits up to 80 degrees Fahrenheit due to constant and intensive use. In conclusion, my systems cooling works!
