This project involves developing a sumo robot capable of sensing its opponent and driving forward to push them out of the ring, all while maintaining to stay within the ring itself. Our group used power supply design, analog and mechanical design for the physical aspect of the robot. It needs to be able to function with all the components inside while maintaining a certain size and weight. The robots behavior used embedded programming through the Arduino code. Our group faced its challenges while working remotely. Since we couldn't meet face to face, we've had to send code back and forth and test our respective blocks with the code. We've also had no access to the lab equipment, so testing the range of the blocks was difficult. But for the future, we plan to be able to meet up to put the components together, build the enclosure, and test the robot.
