Pi Music Box ECE342-Sp20

Arduino

A music box that can play pre-loaded files, as well as record and playback recorded files. The Music box has an LED with brightness control. We used a Raspberry Pi 3 to implement the music box. The Pi is interfaced with the screen and buttons with which the user can select the songs they want to play. We also implemented an Arduino to control the LED. Our Junior Design power supply was implemented to power our system. A main challenge with this project is implementing a user friendly screen with the Pi. Another challenge is not having access to lab equipment. Without the access we couldn’t not print out an enclosure for our music box. In the future we would like to print out the enclosure and put our music box together.
