Powerful Power Supply, Power1 - ECE342-SP22

Our supply was designed to regulate and adjustable output from the range of 2v up to 14v. Our project was designed to be controlled through a PC using an Arduino chip with SCPI commands. The most notable accomplishments were designing an AC/DC power converter, Building and optimizing the Arduino code from scratch, and implementing an adjustable voltage regulator with a current limiter. The main challenge that we had was understanding how to implement a digital potentiometer on a circuit by controlling it through a computer. One another main challenge was the ability to communicate one's idea to others. Communication is a vital key that can be used to bring the most out of anything whether it was a group project, or just a discussion as that allows us to press ourselves and our ideas. One area that should be improved for future projects is the ability to be flexible with anything that might come up, even in the final week of the project.
