The purpose of my project is to collect data based on the temperature in my dorm room, which is on the first floor. I used Arduino to write my code and an ESP32 with a thermistor to measure the temperature. This data was compared with data based on the temperature in a dorm room on the fourth floor. Based off of the graphs of the temperatures from both rooms, I came to the conclusion that the room on floor four reached a higher temperature than the room on floor one. The maximum temperature on floor four was 72 degrees, while the maximum temperature on floor one was 69 degrees. The data also showed that the minimum temperature on the first floor, which was 62 degrees, was lower than the minimum temperature on the fourth floor, which was 63 degrees. The ten minute averages show that the temperature is higher in the room on the fourth floor than the room on the first floor.
