Custom Timer

Our Custom Timer is a simple alarm timer that can be set to run for a variety of pre-set times and accurately count down until the time is up at which the internal speaker will begin creating a 440Hz sound. Using the system is easy, plug it in, flip the master power switch, and then you can cycle through times and hit the start button to begin the timer. This project is run off of a custom PCB that uses an Arduino Nano as the controller. All the buttons, LEDs, and the speaker of the system are controlled by the Arduino and either powered by the PCBs-regulated 5V output or the 9V input from the barrel jack. Fitting all of the electrical components inside of the enclosure and making sure that they all connect correctly was one of the most difficult parts of the project and something that in the future would need some more preparation and foresight to make sure everything fits well. However, the implementation of all the electronic parts working together went very well
