STM32F7 Breakout Board
PCB
As my technical demonstration for ECE441, I designed in KiCAD and assembled a breakout board for an ST Microelectronics STM32F7 ARM CPU. Every GPIO pin is exposed to a header pin, and the USB data lines are connected to a micro USB port, allowing the CPU's program code to be flashed with any software support the USB DFU protocol. Several of the GPIO pins are connected to LEDs, for debugging and/or lightshow purposes. The board also contains two 3-to-8 demultiplexers driving 16 MOSFETS to drive an 8x8 LED grid.
