AudioLux: visual music for the hearing impaired

The AudioLux is a compact, portable device that processes audio received through a microphone or a line-in input in real-time and produces light patterns representing different aspects of the audio to help hard-of-hearing people appreciate music. The device can be controlled through an embedded web application. Using the application, the user can select among different light patterns to represent the music and other settings regarding audio processing. The main advantage of the AudioLux is its portability and ease of use.
