This project focuses on the design and implementation of a power strip with outputs set to different voltages. It saves power by only allowing all devices to be used when the current gets drawn from a specific control outlet. That way, when that device turns off, other devices plugged into the strip turns off as well. There is also an Android application connected to the power strip for the user to view how much current is coming out of the control socket, the entire system, and be able to turn on and off the control socket from the application. The device will also shut down the rest of the system when the control socket device is turned off after a user-defined amount of time. There are barrel jack outputs with a voltage output set by the user allowing them to be dimmers for standard LED strips.
